Las Vegas Raiders Bounce Back in a Close Victory

Raiders wins on the road!

Las Vegas Raiders visited the Cleveland Browns in a game that was delayed due to a virus outbreak. The Cleveland Browns did not have both the starting quarterback Baker Mayfield and Case Keenum, who is the backup quarterback for the Cleveland Browns. The Raiders on the other hand, were short players themselves from injuries and Covid19 Protocols. In a lackluster offensive game, Derek Carr threw for 25 completions on 38 attempts, 236 yards, 1 touchdown and 1 interception. Running back Josh Jacobs, rushing for 15 carries in 52 yards. Zay Jones led the team with 6 catches within 67 receiving yards. The Las Vegas Raiders struck first with a 5 yard touchdown pass from Derek Carr to Bryan Edwards.

Most of the night, the Raiders defense answered the call of stopping the Cleveland Browns until the third quarter.  Nick Chubb from the Cleveland Browns, scores on a 4 yard run to bring Cleveland back within a striking distance of coming back. In the fourth quarter, Daniel Carlson kicked a 40 yard field goal, keeping the Las Vegas Raiders ahead. The Cleveland Browns strike again with a Nick Mullens touchdown pass to Harrison Bryant; which put the Browns ahead with a leading score 13-14. With the raiders still having time on the clock, Derek Carr leads the offense down the field. With time expiring, Daniel Carlson kicked a game winning field goal.   Next up for the Las Vegas Raiders is their Rivals, the Denver Broncos on 12/26 at 1:25pm.
